Success stories:
This is not meant to brag as far too many people tend to see this sort of thing, but more to show that magic exists and is a wonderful way to enhance ones life. I see success stories as things one can share with fellow magicians to empower one another and think "oh yeah I had something similar happen...". Some of these things may sound impossible or amazing, but so are some apparently non magical stories like folks starting out without any money and becoming a multi millionaire in just 10-20 years. They may seem just like coincidences, oh well, I am not out to prove the affectiveness of magic, I personally don't care either way whether other folks beleive in it or not. This is to help, inspire and enourage other practitioners. These are all true events that did happen with witnesses (usually) whom made comments. All of these accounts were by me personally. Enjoy :) I have just listed successes, I do not necessarly mean that I am proud of all of them, actually regret a couple of them, but oh well, live and learn.
I was having a party at my place (my own bday party I think) and it was a low turnout. There were a few folks there that I did not know who came with friends. One was a friend of a band member that I knew quite well. While we were enjoying the party the guy kept asking about my stereo equipment etc. and I didn't catch on to what he was up to as I was quite drunk by this time. Since the party was going slow we had all agreed to meet up with some other partiers at the lake. We then returned to my house later and resumed the party. Well someone put on pink floyd and we all fell asleep LOL. The next morning I woke up to find my camera, tv and vcr gone. I knew immediatly who it was, and a couple of others made a guess. Well about a month later, that guy wound up in the hospital in a coma, he had been in a boating accident, and had to spend a full month in the hospital in a coma from reports I had heard. All my friends started asking if I was a witch <g>.
I flew to Arizona on vacation one year for a week or so. During that time I had agreed to meet up with a friend of a friend that I had breifly met. He had agreed to take me up into the mountains for 2 days. He had acted quite wierd the whole time and charged me WAY too much for gas money but I didn't complain, then only picked up one bottle of water for us. I didn't have a good feeling about him but went along anways. We went to the superstition mountains. We went on a hike, well Mr. speed pill druggie only made it about a mile up the hill before he wimped out. I told him I was going to go up a bit further and take photos. Well I have this bad habit of having to get to the top of mountains, not just partway up LOL. He had been playing wierdass headgames with the water, which left me with none. Well I did make it to the top at least :) Not by the trail but to the top nonetheless. Fortunatly on the top I found other hikers who gave me a bit of water and told me I had taken the hard way up, oops. On the way back down I was too tired to keep up with them (damn seasoned hikers) and they got ahead of me. I got lost. I had been out of water for hours. Well apparently the person I had been with earlier reported me missing after a bit and the park ranger told him that they don't bother to search for people who get lost in those mountains because they are impossible to find even with a small plane since there are so many trails, so much area etc. I tried my best to summon rain over and over again so I could at least stand there and get *some* water. Nothing. I kept going down the mountain and looking for the trail. Well I was good and lost, started staggering and finally had to lay down for the night as I couldn't get up again (ok ok I am from the west coast, I didn't know all those fucking cacti had water in them!) As I watched the vultures circle overhead of me (I was really trashed by this point) I wondered if I would survive the might (with snakes and lizards and all) and lay down to sleep. In a last act of desperation I called to the spirits to basically help to save my life. Well within 5 minutes I saw a bunch of people hiking within shouting distance. So I gathered all the strength I had and asked if they had water. I managed at this point to run straight through a lot of cacti to them when the answer was "yes".
Apparently they had taken a side trail that was rarely traveled (I had not seen anyone for hours) as they knew the area well. They helped me back to their car instead of continuing their hike as they knew I wouldn't survive and gave me bits of water then got me to a pop machine where I got more. Then the person I came with just happened to drive by and pick me up. We went back to the campsite. All of my money was stolen that I had hidden very well, but nothing else s\tolen and everything was neatly packed up by the guy. He claimed he had not seen it, but I could just tell that he took it. He drove me back to where I was staying. That night before colapsing I did a spell for the folks who helped me, I have no idea if it worked. The next morning I did a spell for the asshole who stole my money. I then met a few awesome people afterwards including one magician and had an excellent vacation. Btw, I nearly forgot to mention that it rained the day after my trip into the mountans for the first time in well over a year! :)
When I got home the guy was still claming he hadn't stolen my money. My friend talked with him by phone regularly so I was able to get periodic updates on how this person first lost his truck, then his house, then was arrested for drug charges and put in jail for over a year.
I used to be quite a big Ozzy fan. I had everything ozzy, the rare and hard to get stuff, knew everything about Ozzy, listened to his music all the time etc. Well the Canadian music video station (much music, sort of like MTV) was having a contest where the winner and a friend would be flown to new york, get to meet ozzy in person, get a free tattoo and attend his small concert. This was definatly the contest of the year. THere were a LOT of entries. I entered quite a few times, but also did magic (of course) and I won :) It was an awesome trip. We got to stay a fancy highrise hotel overlooking the park in the center of NY city. I was by far the only one wearing anything sensible or had green hair in the whole damn building LOL. I spent the first couple of days spending the $500 spending money that I won LOL, then got to hang out with Ozzy in his hotel room for a few hours while they video taped it, he signed EVERY single one of my albums, well over 50, perhaps closer to 100, and I was able to ask him a good deal of questions. They aired the episode later and my mother was quite thrilled to watch and tape it :) For about 6 months I was asked everywhere I went if I was that chick on much music, well I guess that was my 5 mins of "fame".
I was pretty big into the music scene and music throughout my teen years and my 20's. I started to do a local radio show at the university. We didn't get that many listeners, but it was a great deal of fun, and I got to interview nearly all of my fave bands :) Not like it didn't take work, but it worked very well. How I was able to interview Megadeth and get a photo pass still amazes me though! :) Also a few co workers and I decided we were going to go down to the recordinbg studion to meet Aerosmith (then later AC/DC, Scorpions, Motley Crue etc. etc.) Well I ended up with a few hundred photos of the band members and a good deal of them with me. Got to dance to a song off their new album 6 months before it hit the airwaves with Steve Tylor etc. etc. Was quite a bit of fun :) Btw, did I mention that I was a bit overweight at the time and actually had less ability then guys to normally meet bands? There is more then one way to get backstage <g>
I had been having severe medical complications from about the age of 10-12 from celiac disease. I did some work with the Enochian entities and was cured and able to eat flour for a full year! I was in a very stressful relationship years later and the pains came back worse then ever. I asked Buer for help. Within 2 week of this request tests were being done since the doctor beleived I had been misdiagnosed. Everything was put on "rush" as my doctor saw it to be top priority. I got the tests within another 2 weeks. I had the surgery another 2 weeks after that (only because I was busy on the first day that the OR was free). I wrote a prayer out for the surgical staff to read to Buer on my bahalf after I was under anesthetic, asking for his presence etc. etc. I also had a Buer's seal with me, which was placed under me (the surgeon's idea) during the operation and during my recover. Well as it turns out it was only half as bad as all the tests showed. There was also a possiblity that more would need to be done, it didn't. The surgeon said it went very well. I left the hospital 2 days early (they like to send folks honme as soon as they are off iv) without any pain killers (after a few days of morphene). Then healed from the operation approximatly 8 times faster then usual. Of course in this case I also have to give a good deal of credit to a friend and magical worker who helped me through this one :)
A friend of mine was having a bought of financial trouble that she had been having for about a year or so, barely able to pay for gas, food etc. I made up a couple of powders for her and did some spellwork f or her. Within about a month and half (not sure what took so long) she always seemed to have money, got a very large bonus and more hours at work, then within another couple of months got accepted for some major funding that she had been applying for.
There are also the less interesting stories such as desperatly needing $100 by the next day, doing a spell and getting a cheque for $1500 in the mail unexpectedly. This had happened with various amounts various times. HOwever I always seem to end up with how much I need, not a whole lot more LOL
I had a student who's neice was sexually abused by her mother's current boyfriend. The mother would not beleive her and kept the guy around. We did a spell. Her mother started to actually listen and beleive her and got rid of the deadbeat Fortunatly the girl was going through counselling the entire time.
I put on 2 large magical events with no previous experience, one by myself, and the other with volunteer help. The first one had an amazing amount of media coverage (hmm large photos of me in the papers, I guess I am up to 10 mins of fame) as well as great attentance, more then expected. I broke even on the first event (it wasn't to make money) and actually made $1500 with the second event even though my startup capitol was only $40. In the long run it really did not end well, but the fact that I was able to pull it off, even with a LOT of opposition from others with different beleifs (and no I don't mean the xtians either).
I did a spell to get a teacher. I had been practicing magic for 15 years at the time and had had a few teachers, as well as have been taught a lot through evocation. I specifically asked for "someone who dwarfs me in knowledge and experience in the areas of a. b. and c.". In my mind that would be at least 30 yrs of magical practice in the exact areas that I was wanting to learn more about :)
I was working with a business partner selling records on ebay. Before I came along he made $500 per month at most. Within one and a half years we had 3 regular emplyees (and a few not so regular) and made $4k on our best month. This was through regular work, it was interesting to see what worked and what didn't magically by how sales did that week. I also worked at manifesting $1000 records as part of very low cost collectios.
When I was a kid I wished on a star once and it came true LOL
Then there are those spells to get books, those are fun :) I had to manifest a used copy (due to budget) of Crowley's book 4 at a certain store that has only about 50 books in it's used section within half an hour, I was quite thrilled when that one worked!
I somehow got my self to do all this html on my website and have even made enough off of to even live off of some months!
Have all my spells worked? Nope, but all the ones that I have been persistant about and REALLY wanted have :)
